Joelle Hann

Book Coach and Collaborator

Joelle Hann is a book coach & collaborator helping authors write books and proposals, discover their ideas, and harness their creative process. Her clients have been published with Big 5 and independent presses such as TarcherPerigee (Penguin Group), North Star Way (Simon & Schuster), Harper Wave, Workman, Wiley, New World Library, North Atlantic Books, Sounds True, Shambhala Publications, and more.

Her past clients include top CEOs, world-changing humanitarians, visionary coaches, scholars, leaders, parents, entrepreneurs, midwives, herbalists, moms and even a psychic medium—such as Jillian Turecki, Kimberly Ann Johnson, Teri Cole, Susan Packard, Zainab Salbi, Nataly Kogan, Sebene Selassie, Ralph de la Rosa, Dondi Dahlin, Amanda Griffith-Atkins, Eileen Rosete, Catherine Simone Gray and many more.

Joelle is actively writing and publishing her own work, so she knows what it means to get feedback and be edited. She treats her authors with the same rigor, intelligence, and kindness she wants for her own work.

Her writing has appeared in such publications as the New York Times, Yoga Journal, TimeOut New York, Poets & Writers, and on NPR and McSweeney's, among others. She has been a writing fellow at the Writer's Institute of the City University of New York's Graduate Center and at New York University, as well as a resident at Yaddo, MacDowell, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Banff Centre for Arts & Creativity, and many others.

Joelle is a Canadian transplanted to Brooklyn, NY, where she now lives and works.
